Variants

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is available in four variant options – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The MPV is also available in Tour M variant to cater to the needs of fleet operators.

Market introduction

The updated model was introduced in India on 15 March, 2022.

Engine and Specifications

Mechanically, the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is powered by the next-gen 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine which generates 102bhp at 6,000rpm and 136.8Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. This engine is available in both five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options.

The MPV can also be had with the regular 1.5-litre engine mated to a five speed manual transmission in both petrol and CNG options. The petrol version produces 99bhp at 6,000rpm and 136Nm of torque at 4,400rpm, while the CNG option produces 87bhp at 5,500rpm and 121.5Nm of torque at 4,200rpm.The MPV can also be had with the regular 1.5-litre engine mated to a five speed manual transmission in both petrol and CNG options. Exterior

Most of the exterior highlights have been retained from the outgoing model. To distinguish it from the regular model the fascia is highlighted by a chrome winged front grille, two-tone machined alloy wheels and back door garnish with chrome insert. Customers can now choose from six interesting colour options - Pearl Metallic Auburn Red, Metallic Magma Grey, Pearl Metallic Oxford Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Dignity Brown (new), and Splendid Silver (new). 

Interior

The updated model gets minor cosmetic upgrades for freshness. Along with the dual-tone seat fabric, the 2022 Ertiga sports a sculpted dashboard design with a metallic teak-wood finish. The vehicle is equipped with features such as Suzuki Connect with over 40 connected car features, roof-mounted AC vents, air-cooled can holders, smartphone storage, auto headlamps, cruise control, and more. For easy access to the third row, the second-row seats in the Ertiga are equipped with one-touch slide and recline mechanism.

Seating capacity

The 2022 Ertiga can accommodate up to seven occupants.
